Here is my answer to your question. In the post I mention the following: Multiplication and Division are the same level, therefore, the order of appearance comes into play. Therefore, in your problem, you should perform division first and multiplication second. Similarly, addition and subtraction are at the same, therefore, the order of appearance rule comes into play.

One engages in any learning activity, only when the answers to above questions are given or available. I have worked with thousands of children and found them to be receptive when they made progress.
